The outcome of this project was to design a student union for the campus at NYIT. There will be a student union built on campus in the area where we were designing, and we worked with the Architecture Firm that will actually be designing the student union and got feedback on our own designs from them. Using the main topic of biophilia to drive the design of my building, I created a building that was one with the topography and created soothing, creative spaces for the students and faculty. The PDF below explains the initial research on biophila, and the images are of the final outcome of the building as well as some conceptual design drawings and analysis' of the building.
